This Sony RX1 review shows that the camera is very unique; it is a fixed lens full frame mirror-less camera. However it is much cheaper than the Leica M9 or M rangefinder (the camera costs the same as some of the Leica lenses alone). So photographers who rarely shoot with anything other than a 35mm focal length may see this as cheaper option than the Leicas with similar image quality.
Shooting with a 35mm lens only can also be very liberating, and makes photographers think about the process of creating images differently. Sometimes having too many options can restrict the creative process.
