"The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt." Sylvia Plath
When we start to question ourselves, our whole world begins to fall apart. That's a pretty brave statement, but if we truly dive into the after effects of what occurs when doubt crawls into our lives, it actually does happen. We can even take it a step further in regards to chasing dreams. Since the playing field is even more competitive, and doubt comes into our minds, that's when it truly does ruin everything or seems to put a complete stop to everything we've ever wanted in this life.
You see, dreams demand everything from you. They demand your complete attention, working ethos, eagerness, integrity, and willingness to sacrifice a significant deal to achieve them. But when you start doubting your dream and what you are doing in life, you aren't giving it your all.
When you hear somebody talking of a dream, there's this sense you get from them that they know something is going to occur in spite of great amounts of doubt surrounding the whole thing. There's an innate sense of belief that roots itself so deeply in that person that they can't even imagine to be defeated. That is true faith.
But when you hear someone who is talking about their passions, and you get the way that they're slightly on edge about it all, you can be pretty sure that they will really never achieve what they set out to do. It's not you're rooting against them, but it's that you know dreams take everything and giving it less than that, well, it just won't work out at all. So pour yourself into what you adore and let doubt disappear from your mind. Others may say it's not practical but the unthinkable has been achieved many many times through history.
Give it a try. Anything could happen.
