Eventually, you will need a company website and a logo. This are however not an immediate necessity. You can start out with only a name first. When the practice looks promising, then you can invest in having a website made and have your logo printed out on various material. Doing all this first may be a waste especially if the business does not prosper.

Speak to someone about the transition. You may talk to your colleagues or mentors about it, and they could help you be able to define what you are offering to the market. Once you are settled, it is little surprise if your first client is referred to you by one of the people you consulted before shifting. This can be from a professional connection or a friends and family favor.

Insurance is an assurance that you will not be facing heart attacks any time soon. Imagine if the building which your office is in burns to ashes. The owner of the building may rebuild it, but they will not replace your office items. It is up to you to make a step and make sure that your property is covered in case of any kind of disaster.

You may need to hire someone in the financial department or better yet, ask a qualified person to handle it for you before you hire someone eventually. It is best to seek advice from a lawyer to avoid getting into any kind of trouble with the law.
