Also, in the approved markets, all the vendors can share one permit, for public ones each vendor has to have their own permit and are required to meet health standards.
There are very few disadvantages associated with farmers markets. The first one being that their availability is only limited to a single day on Sundays which they are open. This can be quite inconveniencing for those that cannot get time on this day and hence they miss out.
