Self Hypnosis For Weight Loss Tips

A lot of people have sworn that self hypnosis is able to help people overcome bad habits like smoking, taking drugs, drinking too much and other things. Now one of the bad habits that this kind of thing would really be able to help people with would be overeating and not exercising. Of course over the years, self hypnosis for weight loss has become a very big thing because it seems to be able to help people gain the right mindset for losing weight.

Now if one would want to try this out, then he should at least have an idea of what meditation is because it is pretty much the same thing. Now to start off, he should first look for a very quiet place that has no people or hardly has any noise around. Once he has already found that kind of place, then he has to make sure he sits down and relaxes.

Now one of the best ways to keep relaxed would be to plug in some music that would help relax the mind and take away all the stress. It is recommended that one would listen to some relaxing slow instrumental music without too much beat in it. One will be able to download some music on the internet for self hypnosis.

When he is already relaxed, then the very next thing that he should do would be to concentrate on breathing. Now while meditating, he has to make sure that he breathes in and out slowly. The best way to do this would be to inhale slowly through the nose while expanding the diaphragm and then exhale through the mouth while contracting the stomach.

When one has already acquired the meditative state, the next thing that he has to do would be to feed his inner thoughts with nothing but positive reinforcements. Now in order to do that, he has to talk to his subconscious inside his own brain. To do this, he has to visualize that he is slowly opening a door that would lead to his subconscious.

Once he has opened that door, he should then visualize himself standing in front of him. The person behind the door is his subconscious mind. He should imagine his subconscious mind as a black and white version of him and he should now keep on telling his subconscious self nothing but positive thoughts.

One thing to take note here is that he should be extremely detailed when it comes to the reinforcements. Now if he would want to have a better diet, he should specify what types of foods he will eat and how many times per week. He should do the same thing about changing his lifestyle and integrating some exercises.

Now after he has done that, he must now finish his little session. He has to do this by counting up to five and slowly moving the hands as well as the feet as it will help him wake up from the state. When he does wake up, he will feel a lot better and actually be more motivated to lose those pounds.
