Everyone should take a little time everyday in the pursuit of self improvement. This is something we continue to achieve for the rest of our lives. No matter what we have accomplished, there is always room to better ourselves.
Not everyone is fully appreciative of the divinity that is in charge of their lives or underpins the purpose for their life on earth. Still, ignorance does not mean exemption. Spiritual law affects everyone whether they believe in it or not. We are all obliged to maximize our potential as far as we can. Everyone has a different potential but each life must serve in trying to reach it.
We are fortunate to live in the modern age. Never before has there existed so much opportunity to improve ourselves. Education is the primary mechanism through which we can enhance our lives. Sadly, there are still many people living in poverty without access to education. It is also a sad fact that many people living in wealth do not take full advantage of the education opportunities that are open to them.
Education does not mean going to school and coming out with a briefcase full of certificates. Qualifications are very important but they are not everything. If you have been educated properly then you will have been given the tools by which to ask questions and source and utilize information. If you have these tools and they are functioning correctly, then you will never stop learning because you will never stop trying to answer questions.
Intellectual self improvement is vital but physical, emotional and spiritual work has to be done as well. It is little point having the know how to build a nuclear reactor when you are physically obese or have anger management issues. Also, understanding oneself in relation to cosmic reality is very important too.
Self improvement is something none of us should ever stop doing. No one is past learning age. Everyone can improve their health and each of us can better understand our own psychic makeup.
