And a commitment to illustrating such a quality can open up a lot of doors that would be otherwise difficult to enter given different circumstances.

It is therefore as much a learning curve for the coacher as it is for the coachee if there is such a word. But being open to change means that they can benefit the most from what is being offered. It is as simple as that. Because the bottom line is having a leader change their behavior in order to help subordinates perform at their best lead to a company that performs at its best.
