Most business entities have begun to believe that the activation of the science of inspiration within their organizations could actually accelerate performance. The outcome of inspiring all the stakeholders of a business results in the following outcomes.
Usually, any inspiration would normally result in a unique creative output and it could be in any field, such as literature, music, painting, sculpture, or other types of artistic endeavors. This concept has its origins in Hebraism and Hellenism. Greeks and Jews believed that it is always a matter of divine influence.
John Locke, a philosopher of the eighteenth century proposed a human mind model, in which ideas resonate or associate with one another inside the mind. The sixth step is termed as storytelling, which is the ability of the leader to connect with all those related to the business at emotional levels and communicating with them through inspiring metaphors, symbols, parables, allegory, and even music.
The last factor is the most crucial in inspiration in a business environment. It is known as servant leadership, where the leader is willing to leverage the assets of the people involved with the company and influence them as a leader. The servant leader should advance the mission and vision of others without the expectation of any returned favors. If companies follow the above seven major drivers of inspiration, success would automatically follow them.
